Kenneth Goldin, Goldin, Hill & Associates, P.C., specializes in the organization, capitalization and ongoing representation of real estate, technology, and other entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Goldin, and the members of his firm, are dedicated to providing pragmatic, results-oriented solutions which are sensitive to the business and financial considerations of its diverse clientele.

Mr. Goldin is a 1976 graduate of Northwestern University and received his law degree in 1979 from the University of Illinois College of Law where he was a Harno Scholar and an Editor of the Law Review. He entered the practice of law as a member of the corporate finance group of Chapman and Cutler, a major Chicago firm, where he represented underwriters, institutional investors and corporate issuers on a wide variety of private and public placements of debt and equity securities.

In 1981, Mr. Goldin joined the law firm of Gottlieb and Schwartz, where he managed the real estate department and provided ongoing representation to public and private businesses, including REITs, developers, municipalities and financial institutions. In 1993, he became counsel to a large-scale venture capital firm, where he managed the formation of a variety of investment businesses, including  a publicly-traded REIT. In 1998, Mr. Goldin became Regional Vice President and Counsel for Metricom, Inc., a publicly-traded wireless infrastructure company, where he directed property acquisition, site development and network operation.

In 2001, Mr. Goldin organized the firm of Goldin, Hill & Associates, P.C. with the goal of offering a highly-personalized, cost-efficient alternative to larger firms.

Joseph Hill, Goldin, Hill & Associates, P.C., is an attorney and engineer specializing in the formation and ongoing representation of real estate, technology and telecommunication businesses.  Mr. Hill received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana in 1992.  Mr. Hill’s coursework emphasized mechanical, electrical and structural engineering.  After working at an industrial engineering firm, he went on to graduate from the John Marshall School of Law in 1995.

Mr. Hill organized the firm of Goldin, Hill & Associates, P.C. in 2001.    Mr. Hill represents technology companies as corporate counsel, real estate developers as well other business clients for general corporate matters and dispute resolution.   Mr. Hill also acts as land use and acquisition counsel for large telecommunication carriers.

Prior to forming Goldin, Hill & Associates, P.C., Mr. Hill was Director of Business and Legal Affairs at Metricom, Inc, a publicly-traded technology company; where his responsibilities included negotiating franchise agreements, leases, managing engineering, construction and network operations for the Midwest region.
